The Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition is one of the AGD’s highest honors. It is awarded to dental professionals who not only demonstrate an unwavering commitment to continuing education, but also make a significant impact through volunteerism, leadership, and service to the community and profession.
To be eligible, dentists must first earn the Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) designations—already monumental achievements that require hundreds of hours of advanced dental education and rigorous examinations. The LLSR goes a step further, recognizing those who continue to expand their knowledge and give back in meaningful ways.
